Form a Team for our 27th Annual Walk/Run Fundraiser!

It’s never too early to start planning for our 2026 event! One way you can support HERS in a bigger way is by creating a team. Just gather a team of 5 or more participants and use promo code TEAM10 to receive 10% off registration.

A team will give you motivation to train as a group, host team fundraising events, and plan your costumes, of course! We’ve had past attendees show off their creativity in amazing ways. This year’s theme is “Hope is our Superpower”, so come dressed as your favorite hero or superhero. There are so many options with this theme!

Ways to build your team:

• Ask friends to join you
• Build a team with your family
• Start a team in your neighborhood
• Invite co-workers to join you in a team representing your company
• Students: invite your classmates (and teachers!) to join you in creating a school team

Catch the Team Spirit!

• Select a creative team name and/or theme
• Decorate t-shirts, hats or other clothing with your team name, and wear them to the event
• Create a team sign or banner that we can display at the event
• Or go BIG and dress as your favorite hero or superhero. Our judges will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies based on originality, creativity, effort, and group size!

Hold fundraising events to gather more pledges

• Hold a car wash
• Hold a garage sale or bake sale
• Set up a table at a local event or in front of a store, health club, beauty salon or other business. Provide information about The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation and the event, and how others can contribute (be sure to get permission first!).
• Host a party at your house, provide refreshments, music, games or other entertainment – hold a raffle or silent auction
