HERS Breast Cancer Foundation strives every day to bring HERS – Hope, Empowerment, Renewal, and Support — to our patients. We do this by offering products and services in a setting that is welcoming and compassionate. Our Program Stores are truly “a soft place to fall.”

Our mission is to support all individuals healing from breast cancer by providing post-surgical products and services regardless of financial status. This work is made possible via fundraising, grants, and donations.

Sheila’s Story

We’re grateful to our patient Sheila Amaral for bravely sharing her breast cancer journey. Her story will inspire you and, we hope, move you to support breast cancer patients, to take action to protect your breast health, and show appreciation to your caregivers — your family, friends, and healthcare professionals — for their compassion and care.

As Sheila so beautifully conveyed, those who supported her with love and light were instrumental to her healing and we know that this level of support is life-changing. This video screened at our 2025 People with Purpose Gala and was made possible with the support of Ramil Sumalpong.
